Who we are
TransportOS is a web app for road-freight operators in India. You can use it to record trips, vehicles, drivers, parties, invoices, payments, expenses, fuel, maintenance, documents and inspections, and to see reports on them.
TransportOS is operated by Trei. In these terms, “Trei”, “we” and “us” mean Trei. “You” means the person using TransportOS.
Your account
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code sent to that number. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. TransportOS does not use passwords.
Keep your phone and SIM card safe. Anyone who can receive the code on your number can sign in as you.
A mobile number can belong to only one organisation.
Organisations, owners and staff
Every record in TransportOS belongs to an organisation. An organisation has one Owner and can have Staff.
- Owner. The first person to sign in with a number creates an organisation and becomes its Owner. The Owner can invite people by mobile number, delete records and remove members.
- Staff. A person the Owner invites can choose to join as Staff or decline. Staff can add and edit records but cannot delete them.
Everyone in an organisation can see its records, so only invite people you trust with them.
Your data
You own the business records you enter. We store them on our own servers and use them only to run TransportOS for you.
We do not sell your data and TransportOS has no ads. Everything is sent over HTTPS. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how it is handled.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, including trip, invoice and payment details.
Acceptable use
Use TransportOS only for lawful business. You must not:
- Enter records you know are false, such as fake invoices or vehicle numbers.
- Try to get into another organisation’s records or anyone else’s account.
- Send automated requests that overload the service or the sign-in codes.
- Upload harmful files or try to break or disrupt the service.
Service availability
TransportOS is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running, but it may sometimes be slow or unavailable, for example during updates.
We may add, change or remove features over time.
Fees
TransportOS is currently free to use.
If we decide to charge for it, we will give you notice before any charges apply.
Ending your use
You can stop using TransportOS at any time. An Owner can ask us to delete their organisation’s data by emailing contact@trei.dev.
We may suspend or close access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or business, that come from using TransportOS or from it being unavailable.
Keep your own copies of any records you are legally required to maintain.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
If you keep using TransportOS after an update, the updated terms apply.
