What we collect
TransportOS collects:
- Mobile number. Used to sign you in and to link you to your organisation.
- Names. Your name and the names of people you invite, if entered.
- Organisation details. Details you add in settings, such as company name, GSTIN, PAN, phone, email and address.
- Business records. What you and your team enter: trips, vehicles, drivers, parties, invoices, payments, expenses, fuel, maintenance, documents and inspections.
Like most websites, our servers also keep basic request logs, such as IP address and time, to run and protect the service.
How we use your data
We use your data to run TransportOS for your organisation: to sign you in, save and show your records, and build your reports.
We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
Sign-in provider
Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. Firebase receives your mobile number to send the one-time code and confirm it. Google may also run a reCAPTCHA check to block automated sign-in attempts.
Your browser stores sign-in details so you stay signed in. Google’s handling of this data is covered by its own privacy policy.
Where it’s stored
Your records are stored on servers run by Trei. Everything between your browser and TransportOS is sent over HTTPS.
Who can see your data
Your organisation’s records are visible to the members of that organisation: the Owner and any Staff who have joined. Members of other organisations cannot see them.
We do not sell, rent or share your records with advertisers or data brokers.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your organisation uses TransportOS.
When a record is deleted in the app, it is soft-deleted: it is hidden from everyone in the organisation but not immediately erased from our servers.
Your choices & rights
Members can view and correct records in the app. Owners can also delete records and remove members.
An Owner can ask us to delete their organisation’s data by emailing contact@trei.dev.
Children’s privacy
TransportOS is a business tool. It is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
